HG Horseshoeing LLC is dedicated to empowering horse owners to make the best-informed decisions they can by promoting equine education. Owners Nancy and Andres Gutierrez are both life-long horse lovers who met via the trials and tribulations of training Nancy’s Arabian mare, Haley. They strive to make sure that every horse owner is comfortable with the care their horse is receiving and understands fully what is going on.
Andres (Nes) provides high-quality horseshoeing services for local clients. He is an Accredited Professional Farrier with the American Association of Professional Farriers, and he is constantly seeking out new and innovative ways he can help the horses in his practice feel and work better. He is a graduate of the esteemed Oklahoma Horseshoeing School, which is run by a veterinarian, and he has attended the International Hoofcare Summit, along with numerous local clinics, to continue his education. He regularly works with veterinarians, both in person and via remote methods, on challenging cases, and he has served as a consultant to farriers around the world as well.
Nancy is a writer and business consultant. As a horse owner herself, she knows how challenging it can be to get the information you need to take the best care of your horse possible. She writes articles and books that are accessible and easy-to-understand for horse owners of all experience levels.

What people are saying:
“Thanks HG Horseshoeing, my horses feet look great and are rock hard now that it has dried out. My horses are halfway through their cycle and couldn’t be happier.” ~ Sara Hensley
“Thanks for being the best farrier in Texas and keeping her feet in top shape so she can perform her best!!” ~ Cindy McCreary
“Nes does such a great job with our horses!” ~ Tara Ragland, Ragland Performance Horses
“This is a concise, well-written overview of hoof care from the perspective of the farrier. Novice horse owners should heed these words, as the farrier relationship is a critical one, but experienced owners will benefit from this guide as a refresher course in basic hoof care. I like the straight-forward nature of the writing, and the photos are pretty good, even on the kindle edition.” ~ Amazon review, Hoof Care for Horse Owners
